These Terms govern access to and use of the free PrecisionSec ClickFix feed, including the CSV feed, the REST API, the STIX/TAXII 2.1 collection and the FortiGate domain lists (the “Feed”). By requesting or using the Feed, you agree to these Terms.
1. Parties
These Terms are between PrecisionSec Threat Management Solutions Inc. (“PrecisionSec”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the organization requesting or using the Feed (“you” or “your”).
2. Licence
PrecisionSec grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Feed solely to protect networks and systems that your own organization owns and operates. The Feed is free of charge, but it remains PrecisionSec’s property and is licensed to you, not sold.
3. No Product or Service Integration
You may not incorporate the Feed, any indicator from it, or any data derived from it into any of the following when it is provided to, sold to or used by third parties:
- a product, service, platform, appliance or cloud service
- a blocklist, reputation service, enrichment service or detection content
- a threat intelligence feed or dataset
- training data for a machine learning or AI model
This applies to derived and enriched data, to partial use, and to aggregation with other sources. If you are a security vendor, you may use the Feed only to protect your own corporate network.
To use ClickFix indicators in a product or service, you need a commercial licence. Contact us to discuss one.
4. No Use for Third-Party Environments
You may not use the Feed to protect networks or systems that your organization does not own, including client environments served as a managed security service provider (MSSP), managed detection and response (MDR) provider, consultant or reseller. That use needs a commercial licence.
5. Other Restrictions
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease or otherwise commercialize the Feed
- publish, redistribute or share the Feed, or any part of it, outside your organization
- share your access credentials with anyone, inside or outside your organization
- use the Feed to build, train or improve a service that competes with PrecisionSec
6. Information Handling: TLP:AMBER+STRICT
The Feed is marked TLP:AMBER+STRICT under the FIRST Traffic Light Protocol 2.0. You may share it only within your own organization, and only with those who need it to act on it. You may not share it with clients, partners or any other organization.
7. Access, Suspension and Revocation
Access is provided through credentials issued to you personally. We review every request and may decline it. PrecisionSec may suspend or revoke access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. When access ends, you must stop using the Feed and delete the copies you hold.
The Feed is provided free of charge with no commitment to continue offering it on any particular terms.
8. No Warranty
The Feed is provided “as is” and “as available”. PrecisionSec does not warrant that it is complete, accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for how you act on the indicators, including testing them before enforcing them.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrecisionSec is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profit, arising from your use of the Feed.
10. Privacy
Information you give us when you request the Feed is handled under our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
PrecisionSec may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted. Continued use of the Feed after that constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
